| Composer Notes:
My first movie score.
I had taken time off from directing and editing FEDERATED GROUP TV commercials because my old friend and fellow film music collector, Jim Wynorski, was to give me a chance at scoring his second film, then called KILLBOTS.
I composed, performed and mixed the entire score in three weeks - resulting in a little over an hour of music. This was to be the time-template for almost all my early work.
Jim held the cast and crew screening at the Sherman Oaks Gallaria Theater - the same location the movie was filmed.
If you look closely in the opening titles you'll notice two bratty boys running on the escalator in the mall. One of those kids is Roger Corman Jr., now a grown up filmmaker who I worked for as a director of photography recently.
Director Notes:
My first film score with Chuck. It's 20 years old this year and still kicks ass.
