Legend has it Jim Wynorski bet Roger Corman that he could reshoot NOT OF THIS EARTH faster than Roger had shot the original. Jim won the bet but nobody knows what was on the table. The mystery continues...

Roger ran a full page color ad in the LA Times Calender section when the film opened in theaters (artwork pictured above). It was truly a dazzling sight to open the paper and see that huge poster in full-color -- expecially at at time where it was rare to run a color ad in the Times.

It must have cost Roger more than my score.
